Introduction

In our daily life, objects rarely move at a constant speed. Sometimes they move steadily, while at other times their speed keeps changing. Based on this behavior, motion is classified into uniform motion and non-uniform motion.

Uniform Motion

Uniform motion is the motion in which an object covers equal distances in equal intervals of time.

In uniform motion, the speed of the object remains constant.

Non-Uniform Motion

Non-uniform motion is the motion in which an object covers unequal distances in equal intervals of time.
